This program is designed for students to feel free to choose the subjects that fit their needs. With this course, students can study Spanish, as well as other subjects related to the Spanish language and culture: History, Art, Literature, Film, Spanish for Business, The Woman in the Spanish History, The Arab World in the Hispanic World, etc.

Starting with a core four-module (Spring Semester) or three-module (Fall Semester) course, students can add on more subjects from the Modular Program or from the Personalized Student Learning Plan (PCI).

Each subject is 45 hours long per semester.

Some modules are held in English (B2 level required).

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
The main objectives of the course are apply theories, tools, and insights found in the field of international management to common real world scenarios mainly throughout the use of case studies, demonstrate or understanding of the similarities and differences among the peoples of the world and how they affect business management, discuss how various legal, political, economic, and cultural systems affect business attitudes and behavior and discuss the managerial issues related to strategic planning, human resource management, motivation, and leadership which arise in an international context.
SPANISH CULTURE
CULTURA ESPAÑOLA
The objective of this course is to help the student understand the different aspects of the Spanish culture. The program includes not only information about geographic, political, historic aspects, but also the customs, behavior, and values which form a part of the Spanish character.
SPANISH ART
ARTE ESPAÑOL
With this course, students learn the main periods and trends of the Spanish art through History. During the course, students analyze the most important art works (paintings, sculptures and architecture) of the Spanish Heritage.
THE ARAB WORLD IN THE HISPANIC CULTURE
EL MUNDO ÁRABE EN EL MUNDO HISPÁNICO
The main purpose of this course is to analyze the culture, art, traditions and literature from the Arab world, as well as the Arabic language, and the way they have contributed to forge the Hispanic identity, together with the influences of other peoples.
SPANISH AND LATIN AMERICAN CINEMA
CINE ESPAÑOL E HISPANOAMERICANO
This course aims to analyze in detail the narrative strategies thanks to which cinema can be defined as an artistic expression. For that purpose, students will view and study a set of films from Spain and Latin America, filmed in different periods.
SPANISH HISTORY
HISTORIA DE ESPAÑA
This course introduces and analyses the different periods, facts and relevant figures that, from Prehistory to current days, have been building the multicultural History of Spain. Practical approach through images, texts and documents.
SPANISH AND LATIN AMERICAN LITERATURE
LITERATURA ESPAÑOLA E HISPANOAMERICANA
This course offers a general overview of the Spanish and Latin American literature. Along this course, students get familiar with the different literary movements and with the works of the most relevant writers.
SPANISH LANGUAGE
LENGUA ESPAÑOLA
This course aims to improve students’ fluency in Spanish, paying special attention to grammar and vocabulary. Following a communicative and functional approach, the course offers students a wide range of tasks and activities which make them get familiar with real communicative contexts.
BUSINESS ETHICS
Business ethics is the applied ethics discipline that addresses the moral features of comercial activity. During the course we will analize the main philosophically-relevant questions that inform the conversation and ongoing disagreement among academic business ethicists systems.
INTERNATIONAL MARKETING
This course will provide a general introduction to international marketing dealing with topics such as: making business in a global economy, strategies in export trade, international logistics, the impact of the new technologies in the world trade.
CURRENT SPAIN
The recent history of Spain provides a well acknowledged model of political and economical development. From the political point of view Spain went from dictatorship to democracy under a monarchic system in a very smooth way.
ECONOMICS/POLITICAL SCIENCE. EUROPEAN UNION
This course will focus on the origins, development and current issues from a political and economical perspective. It will deal with topics such as: unity and diversity in Europe, European institutions, multiculturalism and multilingualism, the difficulties of a common market, etc.
E-COMMERCE AND SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
The main objective of this course is to provide an overview of the dynamics of e-commerce as well as the key elements of digital marketing and social network marketing. Emphasis is placed on practical learning with case studies, class and group discussions or the creation and presentation of an e-commerce website, including social network profiles or Google AdWords campaigns, among others.
INTERNATIONAL FINANCE
The main objectives of the course are develop an international perspective, which is necessary in today's global markets, develop a level of understanding and working with financial models, acquire the ability to comprehend the concepts of globalization and financial crisis, develop and understanding of risk management, necessary to understand the working of the modern financial market and understand the procedures of international banking, entrepreneurship and regulation.
