Cultural visit to Toledo

Saturday, October 7, 2017

Toledo is known as “the city of three cultures”, it holds a long history. It had an extraordinary splendor during the Middle Ages, when the city was one of the main centers of knowledge in Europe. It is located in an awesome place, on a foreland surrounded in three parts by the Tagus River. Toledo has a great historical and artistic value.

During our visit we will take a walk through the narrow streets of the old town and we will visit the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, the Cathedral, the Church of Santo Tomé (and see the famous painting by El Greco "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz" ) and the Transito Synagogue (Sephardic Museum).
