The Instituto Cervantes has delegated the University of Salamanca and more specifically to Cursos Internacionales the tasks of:
- Developing and producing following the CEFR the test materials for preparing the DELE examinations.
- Assessing and marking tests taken in all the examination sessions held by Instituto Cervantes around the world.
Cursos Internacionales uses the expertise of high-qualified teachers specializing in applied linguistics, assessment and psychometric.
The Instituto Cervantes and Cursos Internacionales undertook the alignment of the DELE tests to the CEFR and ALTE. In addition to updating the tests, both institutions have worked hard to professionalize the development phases.
As an official examination centre approved by the Instituto Cervantes, the University of Salamanca also holds the DELE examination sessions.
